Bradford Live Names Its Trustees

Bradford Live was set up to find a long term viable solution for the much loved Odeon building. There was and is no profit-seeking motive behind Bradford Live: it exists for the Odeon and to promote live music and entertainment in Bradford generally. Up until recently, our focus has been on the plans for the building; but once our EOI Stage 2 submission was in, we could concentrate on establishing Bradford Live as a charitable company. This is now done, and we have pleasure in announcing the trustees.

They are:

Lee Craven
Founder and Project Leader of Bradford Live

Caroline Thompson-Hayes
Solicitor at Bradford based law firm, Schofield Sweeney

Dave West
Director of Little Germany Action Limited and chief executive of Bradford YMCA, as well as a trustee of both Forster’s Community College and Kala Sangam.

Irfan Ajeeb
Former director of the Media Museum’s ‘Bite the Mango’ film festival, and Bollywood film critic.

Rich Jones
Founder and director of The Joshua Project, an award-winning Bradford charity working with young people and an honorary degree holder from Bradford College.

David Robertson-Brown
Co-director of Gumption Centres Ltd and a leading figure in several city centre regeneration projects.

We believe this is a strong team with deep experience and a real commitment to Bradford’s regeneration. It will work closely with the team of professional experts we have already assembled for the project. We intend to invite other key people to join the board as trustees should Bradford Live progress to the next stage of the competition. We also hope to appoint a worthy patron of Bradford Live in the near future.
